First connect the mobile and other devices to the same local network (Wi-Fi, Hotspot, WLAN) and use the shown IP address in browser after start.
How to select the shared content on symbian
The Select Folder and Select File menu launches the original built-in file manager in symbian.File manager usage:The Back button goes back to the parent folder. To select a folder press the folder name on the top of the file manager. The file selection is simple. After the shared content selection, the last 4 selection is accessible by press the Shared Content button on the main screen.To get help in configuration menus press the underlined text.
If no WIFI network available you can use hotspot applications, for example JoikuSpot.
Tips and Tricks
Uninstall demo version before installing full version.
For long continuous usage set WLAN power sawing to Disabled to prevent automatic disconnects.
On symbian devices set Menu->Settings->Connectivity->WLAN->Options->Settings->Power sawing Disabled
About security
All traffic sent over the open wireless network are easily visible to hackers.
If you have secret data use the WPA (WiFi protected access) instead of WEP or open network.
For more security you can use the SSL/Secret mode of server since version 1.9.0. The SSL mode uses public and private key pairs to encrypt and decrypt all outgoing data. The private keys never go over the network and impossible to decrypt data without private key. The SSL mode seems absolutely safe, but some virus can steal private keys.
